Stylish Small Offices

I think I've said it before but putting together my own home office was really fun for me. I'm actually not sure why, but it took a bit more thought then most rooms. What your home office needs to do for you is highly personal. I had to figure out how I worked for starters. Not everything they try to sell you in the store for your home office is needed. I like the above small offices a lot. Maybe its the white, dunno. Of course my home office has a barn red accent wall, is it a matter of the grass is always greener? ;)

Look at Me Spaces

There are some rooms, that scream LOOK AT ME! I know what I like, and these are those types. Others can do the same but in a over the top way, which I usually do not care for. You can't help but be taken in by the above photos. It isn't about color all the time either, just great design!

Do you ever see a decor picture that makes your heart skip a beat? The 3 above are such pictures for me. The white dinning room is so simple yet so elegant all in one. The 2nd is Mary's room. A great combo of colors and style with a chalkboard to boot! The 3rd is the best looking narrow space I have ever seen!

Hollywood Regency

We received so many inquiries regarding our last post on the Hollywood Regency style, we thought we expand on this subject a bit further.

If you are looking for the Hollywood Regency style, Kelly Wearstler is the reigning queen. Her latest project in Miami's South Beach, carries her distinctive look as seen here:

Another designer that does this theme quite well is Jonathan Adler. You've probably seen his lamps and porcelain products everywhere. JA is a bit more fun, more flamboyant and in our opinion, maybe not as refined as Kelly Wearstler is.
