To have a cute little waterside cottage in Nantucket...how many of us would be in absolute heaven?! This picture-perfect one by architects
Brooks & Falatico with interior design by
Lynn Morgan Design is just what I'd dream up for myself. All that white spiced up with yummy turquoise! I'm in love with those turquoise Moroccan poufs in the living room and the big, cozy sectional. And how about the turquoise lacquered floor in the bedroom?! Swoon!
If you're loving this home, I know you'll go nuts over this other Nantucket home that Lynn designed. I featured it quite a while back, so many of you might have missed it. Check it out
here!

I just love me a quaint and cozy cottage. This two-room cabin in Nantucket photographed by
Michael Partenio is surely one of the cutest I've ever come across. Designed by
Kathleen Hay, the renovated space features pickled white oak floors and white horizontal paneling on the walls. I know I'm hearing three cheers for the pale seaglass-blue ceiling and the turquoise sand-blasted glass countertop though! What a dream! You guys have to head to
New England Home because Kathleen actually designed the main home on property too and it's just as lovely as this!

I could spend hours sifting through the portfolio of
Phoebe Howard. It seems every time I get drawn into her dreamy world I discover something new. I recently read a Q&A in the
Washington Post where Phoebe talked about her design philosophies. A hallmark of her style is the use of color in a monochromatic way. Even if the colors are vibrant, when you limit color contrast, it brings a sense of calm, order and serenity to a room. She even shared some of her favorite paint colors: Benjamin Moore's
Glass Slipper (one of my favorites too),
Healing Aloe,
Vale Mist,
Cream Fleece, and
Winter Wheat. If you're a fan, I'd definitely check the article out
here. And to see more of this blue beach home, head right

Up next in our week-long tour of my reader Cristi's home is her kitchen and breakfast area. I have been eating up every little inch of this space since I first laid eyes on it! Nothing is prettier than a white kitchen warmed up with beautiful hardwood flooring and colorful tiles. You may remember from yesterday that all the floor in the home was reclaimed from an old barn out east. Love that. Did you notice the closeup of the countertop? This company called
Vetrazzo makes them out of recycled glass...you can even read words on some of the pieces. So much cooler than granite, don't you think??
The cabinets were all done by
Benjamin Blackwelder, who actually made the kitchen so specifically to Cristi's height (she's only 5'0" tall) that the island was measured out by her standing on telephone books! The tile was all done by
Greg's Tile Creations (you'll love what they did in the bathrooms too). Cristi and her designer
Lindy Allen picked them out
Contempo Tile.
What dream kitchen would be without its own perfect little breakfast nook?! Cristi and Jeff designed the area to be east-facing so it would get plenty of the morning sunlight. I just love those bold tufted chairs from
4-chairs.com! The "coco mirror" from
West Elm is another one of Cristi's favorite things in the house - it's made out of bleached coconut shells!
Thanks to the homeowner Cristi and Jessi Safsten of
Hiya Papaya for all these gorgeous images! I'll be back tomorrow with some really cool and
super fun spaces from this home!
Edit: Here is source info as requested!- Wallpaper on nook ceiling is Thibaut Parkland in Beige from Natural Resource
- Three bubbles light fixture above the sink is from Lamps Plus
- Three pendants fixture over dining table is from Lamps Plus
- Fabric on window treatments is from DwellStudio via The Shade Store
- -windows in the nook are done in Pyramid Jade
- -door treatment is done in vintage Plumes Jade
- The exact color of the Vetrazzo recycled glass countertops is Glass House
- Over-the-island schoolhouse pendants can be found at Bellacor (Thanks Kincaids!)

I love how designer
Libby Langdon manages to incorporate a slight nautical theme into this Newport, Rhode Island guestroom, while keeping the look simple and elegant. I just want to crack open the door and listen to the waves! Don't you agree the gorgeous wall color is such a great complement to the crisp bedding? You don't want to miss out on the rest of the home, I know you'll LOVE it, so head on over

A ton of new snow was just dumped on Minnesota, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming about summer! I'd love to have a lake home just like this Lake Michigan cottage designed by
Kathryn Chaplow. Actually I'd love to just have a home like this one, it really doesn't even need to be by a lake! That serene bedroom is a slice of heaven! Love the aqua, the ceilings, the little nook...all
so pretty. What about the porch...how fun is that red animal print?! And did you notice the blue and green fabric on the pillow on the sofa in the living room? It looks a lot like the fabric from yesterday's
nursery! We gotta figure out what that is, I love it! See more of Kathryn's work right on over

Spring is in the air! And if not outside your windows, definitely in that first delightful image above. (The cute kitty called for top placement!) Photographed by Peter Carlsson and featured in
Hus & Hem, this century-old Swedish home is light and bright, just what I love. The sunny porch is such a great space...what a pretty place to keep your things or enjoy a cup of tea! Tour the rest of the home
here!
