A few year back I came across these really cool tents in one of my design books. The company that makes them is called Sweet Water Bungalows (just click the title in this post and it will take you to their website.) They are pricey, but could work if you lived in nicer year round climate and did not want the cost of new construction.

Wrinkled Comfort

There is something about a wrinkled chair or couch I find very comforting. A few years back, it would have drove me nuts! Don't get me wrong, I do like some of my stuff just so, but I don't want people to question whether or not its ok to sit down on any of my furniture. A wrinkled chair is like Grandma's open arms, come on in!

Guest Room

When my sister moved to Dallas 3 years ago, I was crushed. I knew when she did come back to town, I would want her to stay with me. I had no idea how to fit 4 extra people in my house. You have to be very flexible, but it can be done. Kids are easy because they will sleep just about anywhere. A daybed instead of a loveseat, air mattresses, a pull out couch. Plan plan plan, you'll be surprised what you can do!

The Comfy Bed

What makes for a great bed? Is it the pillows? The sheets? The overall look? I'm sure the answers vary a lot between people. I use to like lots of decorative pillows on my bed for show. But after awhile I got tired of taking them off every night. Now my ideal bed is one that makes me want to dive right in. More fluff less show I suppose. A really good mattress, cotton sheets, and 4 standard pillows. Done. How about you?
