Using Your Extra Space

Extra space? Who has THAT?? Most of us actually! You know the space, that odd wall your not sure what to do with. That quirky corner in your hall. When space is at a premium, use it wisely. I've been known to let a empty space "go" and see how my life flows around it. Then I decide whats best for it. Don't put what you think should go there, put what works there. If you enter your home from the back, you don't need a entry table for keys at the front door. Planning is key!

Shots of Color

There is no better way to add fun to your decor then with shots of bold colors. This works especially well with bright whites. If you are confused about color, a good way to start is with your accessories, that way if your not happy with it, your not out a ton of money!

Clever Storage for Home Offices

If you live in a small space chances are you probably do not have much room for a home office. Most of us need some sort of place to pay bills and keep up with things. These pictures inspire me because they incorporate storage with style. When those two worlds come together beautifully, I'm a happy camper!

Just Add Color

White is one of our favorite color to use in our decorating projects. It's a great neutralizer, in the sense that you can use it with any color to create a great combination. Mix white with blue and you have a nice, calming scheme. Mix it with lavender and you have a femine, sweet decor. Mix it with black, and voila, drama!

You get the idea.

Here are our favorite white pieces:

This sofa is from Kravet Furniture. It's called Prelude. It's expensive (about $5000 and up) but it's soo pretty.

We love this white chest from Worlds Away.

This end table is pretty and functional.

We love this mirror chest from Worlds Away.
This chaise is perfect for reading or lounging around. It's called Adante and it is made by Kravet Furniture.
If you need help with Kravet Furniture or Worlds Away, please email us. We'll be more than happy to assist you with pricing and product information.

We saw Bliss Studio at the High Point show this past week and we just love it! The company makes great decorative pillows. Now, you would think that's the easiest thing to make in the world, but it's really hard to find a vendor who makes cool ones.

Let us know what you think of this line.
