Key Lime Parrot Cottage

Oh how I love Jane Coslick! She just never disappoints, does she? How adorable is this bedroom in the Key Lime Parrot Cottage on Tybee Island. Jane said that when they were done renovating it, there was no room left in the budget for "fun stuff", so she was forced to be more creative. Now it's one of her favorite rooms in the cottage! I can't wait to get to Tybee one day, it looks like such a neat place...a perfect combination of fun energy mixed with an easygoing, restful vibe. Just what I love! To see more of Jane's magic I've shared before, go here, here, here and here (see how much I love her?!) And to rent this cottage (or many more) for your next Tybee getaway, visit Mermaid Cottages!

My Dream Cottage

I've posted part of this home a long time ago, but it's one of my most favorite homes of all time. I love that the tiny 969 sq ft carriage house is in Des Moines (I hail from Iowa!), and that the Country Home team transformed it using renewable and recycled products. The upstairs space is incredible...the stenciled walls are just so beautiful. And I could just stare at the bed all day. I love that they used vintage feed sacks and embroidered tea towels to make the throw pillows. How perfect do they look with the lovely Plover Organic bedding! And that bird print is so cute (I saw the same one on canvas at Target a couple weeks ago!) Head here to see more images and read all about this adorable home! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Mabley Handler Interior Design

Last week you all LOVED the seafoam bathroom by Mabley Handler Interior Design so much, I thought I'd share more from their portfolio. After seeing the photos, it didn't surprise me to learn that Jennifer Mabley and her husband Austin Handler focus their design business on projects in the Hamptons. I like what Jennifer had to say in Hamptons Magazine: "A lot of our clients have similar needs for their homes, but are coming from different points of view. Some are trying to capture a feeling from a summerhouse they rented. Some people want a house where they can do a lot of entertaining; some want a house that's very private...But they all want the same thing: to be able to relax and enjoy." In the Hamptons or anywhere else, isn't that really what we all want? To see more of their beautiful work, head here!

Cool Custom Bunk Room

This space designed by Platt Byard Dovell White Architects and designer Tracy Bross is out of this world cool, when I saw it on Table Tonic I knew you guys would love it too. The room (photographed by Jonathan Wallen) is actually featured in the new book Room for Children: Stylish Spaces for Sleep and Play by Susanna Sulk, a compilation of over 100 stylish interiors ranging from nursery to teen. What kid wouldn't want to spend a night or two in this bunkroom, tucked away in their own private hideaway? And I don't know about you, but I love that turquoise and orange!!!

Beautiful and Beachy Nantucket Home

When Daniella of Dress, Design & Decor featured the lovely bathroom above, I had to head to New England Home to see more! I'm so glad I did, because I fell hard for this Nantucket home styled by Stacy Kunstel and photographed by Michael Partenio. I'm not at all surprised that the Midwestern couple who live here bought it sight unseen. I love how they transformed it with the beachy palette reminiscent of Nantucket. I also thought it was cute that the husband had only one request—the antique chestnut floors that run throughout the house. They certainly are beautiful! Read all about the renovation and see more pics here!

Thom Felicia Fabrics for Kravet

Thom Felicia is one of our favorite designers, mainly because his designs are very liveable and very approachable.

Here is a fabric collection he did for Kravet that we thought are quite nice.  The prices are not too bad either (about $99/yard but you usually can get it for much less).

To see the rest of the collection, click here. Pricing and production information can be found on our Kravet Fabric section.
